Former ‘Good Morning America’ co-host teases upcoming keynote at the Health & Benefits Leadership Conference.

Attendees of HRE’s upcoming Health & Benefits Leadership Conference will get to hear about caregiving from someone who knows it well: journalist Joan Lunden.

Lunden, former co-host of Good Morning America, will open the Health & Benefits Leadership Conference on April 15 at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas with a discussion of the importance of caregiving support—as well as health and wellness—in the workplace.

“I’m going to be speaking about my own experiences caregiving my mom and my brother,” Lunden says, “also my own healthcare journey, and the important role employers play in the health and wellness of their employees.”

Lunden advocates for caregiving support and brings this experience to her role as the spokesperson for the senior referral service A Place for Mom, a company that helps caregivers and families find the right care and resources for their loved ones.

Lunden’s appearance will coincide with her upcoming book, Why Did I Come Into This Room? A Candid Conversation About Aging, due for release in March. Signed copies will be available at the conference.
